Hey my name is Kabir

I studied at SAE,to be an Audio Engineer/ Music Producer

I was born and raised in Byron Bay and my parents had a passion for music and photography, which led to me learning to play guitar and making skateboarding videos of my friends.  My favourite genres of music are mainly but not limited to: Hip Hop, Rock, Funk, Disco and Reggae and everything in between.

I first discovered about taking photos, recording and mixing live sound during the early year of high school. As soon as school finished I decided that Audio Engineering was the career for me and so I pursued it as I have a big passion for music. This decision has led me to studying the Bachelor of Audio Engineering for Studio Productions at SAE Byron Bay.

I have a great understanding of to tape/from tape signal flow allowing for me to use this knowledge on sound equipment to allow for recordings. I also learned about using Stereo Microphone Techniques, Double tracking, Phase checking, Drum tracking.

I have learned video editing techniques such as key framing, colour correction, colour grading and syncing videos together using adobe premiere pro.

My aim is to record and mix high quality songs for bands and artists that will eventually get well known in the music industry, all while having an amazing experience with the artists and to ensure the artists are happy with how it sounds throughout mixing. I also aim to produce studio quality sounding performances when mixing for live gigs.
